Qi Gong

I had no idea what Qi gong was when I started.  It was a class I had to take in school.  I didn’t even know how to pronounce it.  The first class was weird. I had never “exercised” slowly, yet I knew I had worked every muscle, joint, and all fascia after an hour. After 8 weeks, I was impressed with the level of conditioning I had attained and how much better I felt.

You know that exercise, meditation, stretching, and deep breathing every day are key to better health, yet do you have the time to do all of them daily?

That is what you will learn to do simultaneously by attending Qi gong class weekly.  The ancient wisdom of the Qi gong practice will improve your endurance, flexibility, tone, and balance while teaching you to quiet your mind and relax completely.

After a few sessions, you will notice how you move and breathe differently.  You will soon have the tools to relax and focus when you feel stressed quickly and a full-body workout you can perform regardless of the shape you are in.  Beginner to advanced, you will find your place.

Your free class will be on a Thursday morning this summer at 9:15 in Hancock; click here to receive your invitation.

Amy began treating me with acupuncture and herbs for various pain-related conditions associated with an active but aging body. When she sensed I was ready, she began teaching me Qi gong, a very accessible integration of movement, purposeful breathing, and imagination that does wonders for the body and the mind – and will keep me going for decades.

Thank you, Amy!                                                                                   Rick S., 69
